Slow Week No More...

Last week was the lowest output of broadcasts I have done this season.  There were only six broadcasts all of last week.  A large factor of that is that the first week of January is generally a slow time of year on the schedule, plus there are no tournaments going on during this particular week.

So there was just a game a night, with my one night off (Tuesday to compile the coaches polls), and a doubleheader on Saturday in Galesburg.  That week of rest is all in the rear view mirror.

Here is the current week scheduleMonday:  3 games at ICAC Tournament in Williamsfield
Tuesday:  Off to compile coaches polls
Wednesday: 3 games at ICAC Tournament in Williamsfield
Thursday:  Quincy @ Galesburg (girl's basketball)
Friday:  Galesburg @ Alleman (boy's basketball)
Saturday:  Tentatively scheduled 5 broadcasts at Galesburg MLK Tournament (this is all dependent on how the day progresses on the schedule, since my focus is on the WAIK Galesburg broadcasts).

Next Week's ScheduleMonday:  3 games at Galesburg MLK Tournament
Tuesday:  3 games at Carmi-White County Invitational
Wednesday:  3 games at Benton Invitational Tournament
Thursday:  Galesburg @ Alleman (girl's basketball)
Friday:  Moline @ Galesburg (boy's basketball)
Saturday:  4-5 games at Galesburg Mid-Winter Classic

It looks pretty daunting, but Tuesday and Wednesday I am on the road so I do not have the rush of working a full day at the office (plus the drive).  However, I am planning on driving back Wednesday from Benton (5.5 hours), which means 5-hour energy (2x) may be needed.  It's going to be very tiring, but the end of March is almost here!
